April 2012 Newsletter

Greetings

So that was summer….

Not sure which day that was, but for most of us it seemed only to have lasted that long!

This month we take a look at a case study that demonstrates the use of Extended DISC® in the motivation and the resultant retention of key people.

This case study was sent to us by one of our most active consultants who specialises in identifying people with motivational issues (in mainly large organisations, but can be equally effective in any business) and in the current economic climate, he has been extremely busy!  It is a good example of how Extended DISC® Personal Analysis Reports can identify individuals who might be lacking motivation and using the reports to help in addressing these challenges.  To read more...

We also consider how we can increase productivity through the use of DISC methodology by focusing on the simple “do’s” and “don’ts” for each behavioural style.  This is very much a broad brush approach as Extended DISC® recognises and reports on 160 different styles (40 specific reports under each broad style - D, I, S and C), and identifies much more precisely the individual “development areas” for each specific style.  The summary can however be used as a guide in understanding how the four quadrant model can be effective in increasing productivity.  To read more...
