  • "I'm the BEST decision maker", Extended DISC Library, July 2010 ( article )
Do you think you are a good decision-maker? You should. Let me explain you why. In our training sessions, people often ask me who is the best decision maker. My response is “everyone”. As the audience seldom is happy with that answer, I need to explain why. Let’s have a look the four main behavioral traits and their decision making style.
  • "Don't use your style as an excuse", Extended DISC Library, June 2010 ( article )
Your behavioral style does not limit what you can achieve in any way. Never make comments about what others “cannot” do because of their behavior style. This is by far the most damaging version of using “the style as an excuse”. The other person just may believe you even though you are very wrong. We feel it is important to hire the kinds of people who can easily adjust to our corporate culture. Many of us have also heard cases when a person has left the organization because he never felt being accepted or truly involved in their team. If you are different, you are easily also considered being difficult and strange....

  • "Coaching", Extended DISC Library, December 2009 ( article )
One of the many objectives in a coaching relationship is the enabling of a change in behavior on the part of the coachee. It is therefore crucial that the coach and the coachee understand both the natural and the adjusted behavioral styles of the coachee. Without this understanding it is much more difficult for the coach to develop an understanding of the coachee’s approach to the set goals or to help the coachee develop an approach to achieving his objectives.

  • "Assessment Strategy", Extended DISC Library, September 2009 ( article )
